Reading Circle
Dive into modern classics, deeply human themes, and the art of the unreliable narrator.
📅 We hope to begin our first circles in September 2026, in line with the academic year.
This circle explores some of the most profound and thought-provoking novels of the modern era — and above all, it focuses on how a story is told. We examine distinct, unconventional, sometimes unreliable narrative voices, and along the way we tackle weighty ethical dilemmas, historical trauma and alternate realities. Expect to think deeply and speak passionately.
Language & Fluency Focus
Contemporary authors leave the most important things unsaid. You'll train your English intuition to catch implied meaning, subtle tension and the emotion simmering beneath the surface.
Living inside drastically different narrators, you'll learn to flex your own English — moving from hyper-literal and analytical to poetic and melancholic as the moment calls for it.
Every book asks you to form and defend a moral position, building the high-level vocabulary you need to debate ethics, human rights and philosophy with nuance and respect.
Unlike older classics, these novels show how educated native speakers genuinely shape their thoughts and sentences today.

Circles are capped at seven readers, so places are limited. Start with a single book, or commit to the full journey.
